With new Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers as well as a brand-new 16-25 Membership, there’s something for everyone to enjoy – with a brilliant range of perks to thank you for your support.

We’re the only dedicated arts and performance venue in the whole of the Cherwell District – meaning that without The Mill, many in our area wouldn’t have access to the huge range of performances, workshops, exhibitions and more that we offer each and every year.

What impact does my Membership have? 

By becoming a Member, you help to ensure we can continue to offer a full range of top-quality shows, creative workshops and outreach activities so that everyone has access to the opportunities they deserve to be creative, entertained and inspired.

Here are a few examples of how your membership makes a direct impact:

  • £10 – materials for a Little Creatives session for young artists aged 0-5 
  • £15 – the cost of gifting a free ticket to a local community group or school to see our Christmas show 
  • £125 – hosting a bespoke creative workshop at The Mill for a local community group 
  • £250 – supporting the cost of our Community Engagement Officer to facilitate a workshop in a local school or community setting 
  • £600 – providing audio description or British Sign Language interpretation for a live performance

Terms & Conditions

1. All purchases are subject to our standard Terms & Conditions.

2. Membership cards remain the property of The Mill Arts Centre Trust. All discounts are subject to production of your personal and valid Membership card or verification of your Membership on your Mill account, subject to provision of valid named ID.

3. Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, are subject to availability, and may be withdrawn at any time.

4. Discount at the Cafe Bar is subject to availability, and we reserve the right to exclude certain items. Silver and Gold Members are entitled to 10% off most termly courses and selected other classes at The Mill (1 discount for Silver Members and 2 discounts for Gold Members).

5. Members must present their Membership card in order to access the discount at the Café Bar. Silver Members are entitled to 10% off purchases at the Café Bar and Gold Members are entitled to 15% off purchases at the Café Bar.

6. Gold Members are entitled to a 20% discount on ad hoc room hire bookings (not including regular repeat bookings or use of the theatre). Please contact Ben Smith, Assistant Operations Manager (ben.smith@themillartscentre.co.uk) for more information.

7. Gold Members are entitled to 10% off purchases from the Exhibition only.

8. Partner discounts include 10% off in store purchases of art supplies at The Artery with a valid Mill Membership card (discount not available for items already on offer); and discounted £3 tickets to temporary exhibitions at Banbury Museum & Gallery with a valid Mill Membership card. Members will be notified and these terms will be updated when partner offers are added. Partner organisations reserve the right to withdraw their discounts at any time, without prior notice.

9. Priority booking is available to Members for the vast majority of Mill events including new terms of Classes & Workshops and most new shows. Members will be notified of new events going on sale by email; please ensure you have opted to receive marketing from The Mill by email to hear about new events going on sale.

10. Newsletters: Members will receive regular newsletters by email tailored to Members including notice of new events going on sale. Please ensure you have opted to receive marketing from The Mill by email if you wish to receive the newsletter.

11. No quibble exchanges/credits: Gold Members may exchange their tickets for live shows for an equivalent value towards another performance (subject to availability), or request a credit to their account, at any time up until 48 hours prior to the event during Box Office opening hours. Please note this is not available for Classes & Workshops due to small class sizes.

12. Free drink when you renew your Membership: New or renewing Silver Members will receive a voucher for one free drink (tea, coffee or on-tap soft drink) at The Mill’s Café Bar. New or renewing Gold Members will receive a voucher for two free drinks (wine, beer, tea, coffee or on-tap soft drink) at The Mill’s Café Bar

13. Behind the scenes tour of The Mill for Gold Members is available on request. Please contact Laura Lloyd, Marketing & Development Officer (laura.lloyd@themillartscentre.co.uk) to arrange.

14. Public acknowledgement: When purchasing a Membership, we will ask if you would like your support to be publicly acknowledged on our website. Members who opt in will have their full name displayed as one of our supporters on our website and can opt out at any time by contacting the Marketing & Development Officer.

15. What’s On Guide: Members who have opted in to receive marketing information from The Mill by post will receive the new What’s On Guide with a personalised letter from the Chief Executive each season.

16. 16-25 Members must provide their accurate date of birth when becoming a Member. We will contact 16-25 Members to confirm date of birth to validate the Membership, and Memberships will expire on the Member’s 26th birthday. We reserve the right to remove 16-25 Memberships at any time for any reason, including if we cannot verify your date of birth.

17. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without notice.
