The Bicester Festival returns for its second year of Creating, Making and Taking Part in the Arts. This year’s festival theme is ‘Earth – Gaining Ground’ in a celebration of Bicester identity, roots and growth and it will be taking place in and around the town centre over 3 days.
Highlights include :
A musical treat is in store for Garth Park with the 9-strong, genre-defining Riot Jazz Brass Band who are wowing audiences nationally and internationally with their irresistible energy, incredible original material and brilliant takes on some classics. Supported by Oxfordshire’s finest Bluegrass duo: The Barney Newman with Tim Sole and Bicester’s own Backstreet Noise.

Great family fun with an outdoor sing-along screening of ‘The Greatest Showman’ in Garth Park.

Other Bicester Festival attractions around the town include:
A procession with the acclaimed Outdoor Arts company Festive Road who will be here with their spectacular giant puppets for an eye-catching parade with the Melody Room jazz band on Saturday from 11am in Market Square and Sheep Street.
Market Square will be closed to traffic as to host a ‘Bicester’s Best’ stage featuring local talent acts alongside the hilarious ‘Electric Cabaret’ and their Royale Visit.
